A 28-year-old Gloucester man who assaulted two men last October has been warned by a judge that he is facing jail.
Kiran McLatchley of Horsbere Road, Hucclecote, admitted that on October 8 he inflicted grievous bodily harm on Ciaran Robb and assaulted Dylan Newman causing actual bodily harm.
Defence solicitor Sarah Jenkins told Gloucester Crown Court that the serious head injury suffered by Mr Robb resulted from McLatchley pushing him and causing him to fall back and hit his head on a pavement.
Judge Michael Cullum bailed McLatchley until May 26 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He told him: "Obviously, for an offence of this seriousness, an immediate custodial sentence is going to be very much in the judge’s mind when considering the guidelines. "
